Label TextIn this drawing, an Arapaho warrior depicts himself as facing almost insurmountable odds as he bravely charges a well-manned U.S. Army barracks on his black and white pinto. He carries an U.S. Army cavalry saber, a trophy from an earlier battle. The Arapaho warrior would have used this saber to touch his enemies and gain war honors.
