Label TextA warrior honored the spiritual power of his dreams and visions by creating symbolic references of his experience. This beaver tooth necklace is a fascinating example of a warrior’s belief in, and reliance upon, the blessings of a beaver spirit. In Crow mythology, the beaver spirit was an important representative of the “Underwater Persons,” known for their curative powers. Neck ornaments such as this provided spiritual and protective power for a warrior.
