Label TextThe Jump dance is performed by the Hupa, Yurok and Karuk peoples as part of the World Renewal ceremony. In the dance a male dancer wears an elaborate costume that includes a headdress, necklaces and deerskin skirt, and carries the Jump basket in his right hand.
