Label TextThis painting was originally mounted on a wooden board covered with wallpaper and was probably used as a fireboard. The colorful scene features an archer, horses, a lion, and a castle-like structure all surrounded with a floral border. The notches at the bottom were most likely meant for fireplace andirons.
