Label TextFrances Ellis Mapes was born to James and his first wife, Almira H. Mapes, on April 11, 1836 in Lodi, New York. On December 12, 1860, Frances married Charles M. Neeley, owner of a hardware and grocery store in Lodi. The couple had one child, Montgomery Neeley. Frances died on April 5, 1921, at the age of eighty-four.
