Label TextHarvey created sculpture that she described as collaboration with "God and nature." She embellished roots and branches with paint and costume jewelry to create masks and figures. Her pieces reflect a pride in her African heritage and her strong religious convictions. Harvey's mission was to deliver the message of interracial harmony and Christian brotherhood to the world. This particular sculpture, representing Peace, Hope, and Love, was purchased directly from the artist in 1992.
