Label TextThe use of bold images in primary colors against a white background give these boy’s pants a striking design. Horses are traditional symbols of wealth or, in a child’s case, the potential for wealth. Elaborately beaded clothing was one of the ways that Plains women expressed love for their children. These trousers are fully beaded on both sides and reflect an extraordinary effort by the maker.
