Label TextHenry A. Duessel was active in Germany and New York, where he was best known for creating panoramic landscapes, such as this piece. Here Duessel depicts Windham Valley. Interestingly, this piece is reported to show Bump Tavern in the distance at the center right of the composition. Bump Tavern can now be seen and visited at The Farmers' Museum.
