Label TextHere we see Lawrence Lebduska depicting one of his fantasies based, perhaps, upon a childhood memory from his origins in Czechoslovakia. Lebduska incorporated horses into his composition—a favorite subject as he developed a fondness for horses while at his uncle's farm in Maryland. His view, perhaps a blend of the old world and new, includes the animal that he loved most, offset by a seemingly idyllic landscape.
