Label TextIn the late 19th and early 20th centuries Tlingit weavers produced highly decorated baskets to appeal to Victorian buyers. The top of this basket is hollow and filled with pebbles or lead shot. The pattern found on the edge of the rim always matches the pattern on the bottom.
