Label TextSnow goggles with narrow slits were worn to shield the wearer’s eyes from the snow’s glare, the reflection of light on water, blowing snow, and brilliantly sunny days. Some goggles such as these have visors to provide additional shading. Their angular shape and flat unadorned surface give them a stark, mask-like appearance.
