Label TextThis weathervane was probably not the product of a large manufactory, but rather one or two craftsmen, possibly a blacksmith and a painter. It is believed to have been found in Connecticut by the acclaimed American sculptor and collector Elie Nadelman and purchased from him by renowned folk art collector Jean Lipman.
