Label TextAccording to the original collector, Jean Lipman, this weathervane was found at the “Old Meeting House,” possibly the Buckingham Friends Meeting House, in Lahaska, Pennsylvania in the mid-20th century. The weathervane is distinctive in that it depicts a swordfish–a rare subject–along with a silhouette of a heart, a common Quaker motif.
