Label TextAmong the Cheyenne an exclusive guild of women applied sacred embroidery to certain objects, including tipi furnishing. The beaded designs were usually made in four colors - red, black, yellow and white or occasionally as on this liner light blue was substituted for the white. Tipi liners were suspended around the tipi bottom to stop drafts and add privacy.On View
