Label TextBaskets are a common motif in quilting, as they can be pieced in a number of ways, appliquéd as more fluid designs, or made in a combination of the two methods (typically with the body of the basket pieced and the handle a curved appliqué). These baskets are pieced to sit diagonally within their squares, which made mirroring both sides of the quilt a clever way to achieve balance.On View
